The International Appalachian Trail (IAT-SIA) extends northward from the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail into Canada and across the Atlantic Ocean into several European nations.[1]
It is formally known as the "IAT-SIA," or "International Appalachian Trail, Sentier International des Appalaches."
It is maintained by International Appalachian Trail Council.
