Third Gate Water Cache

The Third Gate Water Cache is a prominent water cache located at mile 92 of the PCT. It is stocked by the same trail angels that maintain the water cache at Scissors Crossing. Thank them if you see them, or leave a few bucks. Without these two caches hikers would have a 35 mile water carry from Rodriguez Fire Tank to Barrel Spring.
