Water

Like most of the high dolimites, natural surface water is relatively scarce due to its porous limestone geology. Most rifugi have running water or sell bottled water and many have free-to-use fountains/troughs. The southern sections are particularly dry and should be well-planned in advance. Filtration/treatment is recommended.
